4 of the Very Best Sunscreens
Treat SPF like youth serum and apply/reapply it multiple times a day. Sharing some of my favorite sunscreens under $30 for all different occasions that blend into the skin beautifully, and never leave a white cast. These options will keep you looking youthful and radiant while also protecting you from UV damage. Finding the right sunscreen can be daunting, but I’ve found that given we need to be reapplying SPF throughout the day, different occasions call for different products. Here are my favorites, all under $30.
★ Sun Bum Face Mist ($18.49) is perfect for days at the pool or beach when you have a full face of makeup and want to maintain your look while simultaneously staying protected. This mist keeps your face in place, so you can enjoy the sun without worrying about smudging, melting, or burning. It keeps your face in place babe.
★ Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Moisturizing Face Serum ($14.99) acts as an extra layer of moisture. This sunscreen includes all the protection you need while feeling lightweight and hydrating on the skin. It's perfect for a stay-at-home day with no makeup, giving your skin a boost of hydration and protection. But beware, if you accidentally get some of this product in your mouth, it will leave an icky taste! I combat this by avoiding applying the product too close to my lips, and I also use a flavored lip balm before applying.
★ Cotz Prime & Protect ($27.50) is a tinted, mattifying solution that is great for bare-faced days as well as before applying makeup. This product reminds me so much of The POREfessional Face Primer from Benefit but with added sun protection. Fun fact, POREfessional was the first makeup product I was ever OBSESSED with as a teen. Cotz Prime & Protect is perfect for touch-ups throughout the day, especially around the eyes, to keep your skin looking glowy yet matte.
★ SunBum Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Face Lotion ($20.49) is typically what I put on first thing in the morning before heading to the gym, as it helps bring some life and color to my face and has a mattifying, pore-dissolving effect that keeps me looking dry even when I’m sweating it out. It's essentially a less expensive version of the Cotz Prime & Protect, but there's nothing cheap about it!
